Kind of tickets
Only the following tickets can be prepurchased online: Full Price Tickets Reduced Price Tickets: Children from 6 to 11 years of age Free tickets are available for the following categories, ONLY AT THE TICKET OFFICE: Children under 6 years old 1 free ticket for the teacher or group leader of school groups, each 10 alumns 1 free ticket for the group leader of groups, each 20 people Police, accessing for specific service reasons Journalistswith membership card of the foreign press in Italy, Italian National Order of Journalists or authorized by the Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore. Disabled (for their carers only in case their presence is indispensable) Florence official tourist guides Priests, monks and nuns Free entrance to St. John's Baptistry for residents of Florence and province (id document requested).
IS IT MANDATORY TO PRINT THE TICKET? I AM TRAVELING WITHOUT ACCESS TO A PRINTER.
Ticket includes a barcode that open turnstiles of the various sights of the complex. Printing is mandatory to ensure the correct reading of barcodes at turnstiles. You can ask your hotel concierge to print them for you or print them at one of the many Internet Points located in Florence downtown.
Ticket must be used within midnight of the thirtieth day from the date selected on the calendar at the moment of the purchase, and it is valid for 72 hours from the passage at the first monument. The 72 hour window for visiting monuments begins from selected date listed on your ticket. If you booked Dome, valid from the day of the reservation. No other monument entrance will be available until after Dome reservation.

Time bookings are free, mandatory to access Brunelleschi's Dome. The rest of the monuments of the Complex do not offer time booking and must be accessed queuing up within opening hours with the valid ticket.

Times booked cannot be changed.
HOW MUCH TIME SHALL I ALLOW FOR EACH VISIT?
A two hours visits is advised for the Museum, one hour for the Bell Tower and one hour for the Dome.
HOW CAN I THE VOUCHERS I HAVE NOT PRINTED?
The vouchers for bookings previously submitted are available for download and print from the reservation page.
WHICH ONE IS THE NUMBER I MUST INSERT IN TICKET NUMBER?
You must insert the ticket number (the reservation page includes the image of the exact point where it is located in the various kinds of tickets).
WEBSITE STATES THAT TICKETS ARE NOMINAL, BUT ALL THE TICKETS I HAVE PURCHASED DISPLAY THE SAME NAME, IS THIS CORRECT? / WHAT HAPPENS IF I BOOK PURCHASE TICKETS FOR SOMEBODY ELSE AND I WILL NOT JOIN THE VISIT?
Only the group leader name is displayed on the tickets; if the name of the group leader is different from who submits the order, you will be requested to provide the group leader name at the moment of the purchase. The reservation for the Dome (Cupola) is, instead, nominal, and each ticket will display the full name and birth date of each visitor. Tickets cannot be transfered, changed nor canceled.
HOW CAN I BOOK FOR DAYS FOLLOWING THE DATE CHOSEN FROM THE CALENDAR FOR THE VISIT?
Contextual booking allows you to select times to visit the Dome (Cupola) on the date you choose for the tickets. You can also book, not simultaneously, for later days only at the ATMs, and according to availability remained.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO CANCEL THE TICKETS? / I HAVE MISTAKENLY ADDED 2 TICKETS TO THE BASKET BUT I ONLY NEED ONE. I HAVE ALREADY PAID, HOW DO I CANCEL ONE OF THEM?
Tickets, once issued, cannot be canceled nor modified. IF TRANSACTION SEEMS NOT CORRECTLY COMPLETED, PLEASE CONTACT US OR YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY TO VERIFY THE OUTCOME BEFORE SUBMITTING ANOTHER.
I HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED ONLINE THE FULL AND REDUCED PRICE TICKETS I NEED; IS THERE A SPECIAL CASHIER WHERE I CAN PICK THE FREE TICKETS UP?
Children under 6 don't need a ticket; they can be carried by their parents or pass under the turnstiles. There is not a special line for children from 6 to 11 years old, but their free tickets can be picked up at the Museum, for a shorter line.
